Saint Levant makes music that travels borders through languages, genres, and lived experience. This March, he brings that journey to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Wellington.

Born Marwan Abdelhamid in Jerusalem during the second Intifada to a French-Algerian mother and Serbian-Palestinian father, Saint Levant spent seven formative years in Gaza. Those early experiences of displacement and resilience became the foundation of his music. Drawing on Arabic, French, and English, he crafts songs that speak to identity, belonging, and memory, connecting audiences across cultures with rare immediacy.

His sound moves fluidly between genres. Arabic pop, raï, and chaabi sit alongside R&B, hip-hop, funk, and contemporary pop. His trilingual approach allows him to switch languages even within a single track. This signature style has broadened his appeal to a global audience while remaining deeply personal.

His Valentine’s Day EP, Love Letters, marked a defining chapter in his career. Each track acts as a “love letter” exploring personal and cultural narratives. The A side channels traditional Arab and North African influences. The B side reinterprets 80s funk and contemporary pop through his lens. The deluxe edition added collaborations with Fares Sokar, NORDO, and Babylone, cementing his reputation as a generational artist whose work crosses geographies and genres without compromise.

On stage, his shows are immersive experiences. Audiences move seamlessly between contemplative moments and high-energy grooves guided by music that blends the familiar and the unexpected. His live performances are intimate, vibrant, and unafraid to cross borders.
