Astral People, Handsome Tours and Laneway Presents are excited to bring you Paris Texas’ first headline shows in Australia. While in town for the national Laneway Festival, Paris Texas will take the stage at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on Thursday, February 1 and at Melbourne’s Night Cat on Thursday, February 8.

Since joining forces in the late 2010s, the members of Paris Texas, Louie Pastel and Felix, have crafted some of hip-hop’s most singularly confounding songs. After two brief but essential drops in 2021, Paris Texas exploded onto the scene with MID AIR, one of the most unpredictable albums of 2023. Blending various strains of rap and rock music into a fusion of pure energy and irresistible urgency, the wildly inventive LA duo have quickly become unmissable voices in music today, and essential translators of the end times. 

Drawing inspiration from LA’s famed hip-hop collective Odd Future, Paris Texas is for fans of Brockhampton and Kenny Mason but ultimately, they’re tearing up the book and making their own rules. 

This summer, witness them unleash everything that got them here – the impulse, the masterplan, the groove and the cacophony. It’s going to be chaos.
