Drawing from a vast array of cosmopolitan influences, Palms Trax has cultivated his own twist on house that is so beautifully distinct it elevates him above all else in the game. The Bristol native now bases himself within the avant-garde underground music scene in Berlin, crafting a unique blend of Chicago and Detroit house that is as nostalgic as it is innovative. Taking inspiration from Chicago jazz as much as the late 80s powerhouse Nu Groove records, Palms Trax unmatched talent lies in his ability to create a signature sound that situates itself within the past, present and future.

Palms Trax released his debut EP E​quation i​n 2013, and the global acclaim that he has since enjoyed are testament to the immensity of his talents that far outweigh his age or experience in the industry. Not unlike a young Omar-S, Palms Trax’s command over the technicalities of production are akin to that of legendary house producers. His signature use of hazy synths, swelling drum patterns and smooth house melodies that straddle the Chicago-Detroit axis, are simultaneously perfect and unpredictable. Over the last couple of years alone, Palms Trax has been signed to Amsterdam-based label Dekmantel alongside innovative artists such as Vakula and Matrixxman, remixed tracks for influential record labels like Hivern Discs and Let’s Play House, and gaining a highly-sought after spot at the Red Bull Music Academy in Tokyo last year. With two upcoming EPs and an imminent album set for release through Dekmantel, it’s only the beginning for this talented producer. With a string of festivals booked for Palms Trax throughout Europe and the UK for the remainder of 2015, the forward-thinking producer will continue his tour as one of the much-anticipated headliners for S​trawberry Fields Festival​in November this year.
