Born in Chiba to a Jamaican Father and Japanese Mother, nasthug has thoughtfully carved out a way of DJing that cultivates inspired connections between Hip Hop,
Afrobeat, Dancehall, Jersey Club and more via her unique influence of a Japanese and Caribbean musical upbringing. A vast musical understanding which becomes clear
when seeing her perform. Since her emergence, nasthug has been able to capture the attention of music critics and lovers alike to become a part of a conversation not only within Tokyo but internationally, considered by many as one to watch.

In 2023 she performed at Boiler Room Tokyo, leading to instant international acclaim, receiving over half a million views within a number of weeks. Subsequently nasthug has DJ’d for brands such as Diesel, Ambush and Nike, making clear her approach to fashion and music collectively all while Nas’ has continued to play at key venues
across Japan.

Now considered one of the most promising and prominent DJs to emerge from Tokyo, nasthug has turned her attention to the global stage as she begins to look towards a calendar of international touring, upcoming brand collaborations and expanding her musical output. 2024 is a year where the world gets to know Nas.
