Sitting somewhere on a fly-by style intergalactic plane, MUX MOOL creates music destined to make you feel. From sex-tinged G-Funk to low-end disco and genre blurring post hip-hop impressions, his acclaimed works are stuck in an unseen haze between club readiness and analogue emotional connectivity. Following on years of obscure influence and experimental production, the Brooklyn/Minneapolas-based Brian Lindgred’s first official beats came via Moodgadget, a former launchpad label of Seth Troxler and Outlier. With follow up EP’s on Matthew Dear’s ‘Ghostly International’ (including a track on their Adult Swim collaboration ‘Ghostly Swim’) his debut album ‘Skulltapes’ was released to unanimous praise and support since from Africa Hitech, SBTRKT, Resident Advisor, Stones Throw Records, XLR8R and a slew of future-tinged beat makers with an eye for the stars.
