Astral People & Handsome Tours presents… MALL GRAB

Unequivocally one of the hottest properties in dance music today - Globe conquering Mall Grab returns to his homeland this October/November coming off the back of his long awaited debut album 'What I Breathe'

'What I Breathe' is the most comprehensive demonstration of Mall Grab's style to date – loudly defining the raw energy that has become synonymous with the moniker. While glances of what Jordon gravitates towards in dance music can be heard in the record it's through collaborations with Brendan Yates of Turnstile, Novelist, D Double E and Nia Archives, the Mall Grab repertoire of emotive electronics is used to traverse his love of hard-to-define energies that exist between genres like Hardcore, Hip-Hop and Soul.

His meteoric rise has been impossible to ignore. From spearheading the popularisation of lo-fi house, to his evolution as one of club music’s heaviest genre-spanning suppliers - the producer / DJ is backed by an artillery of club weapons. No two sets alike, he can be identified by a constant motif: raw energy.

Mall Grab is the moniker of Newcastle raised - London based, Jordan Alexander. A poster boy of the internet age - his early self-released productions quickly spread like wildfire via the likes of Soundcloud and YouTube. Within only a few years, he now boasts some of the most religiously consumed sets on iconic platforms such as Boiler Room or BBC 1’s Essential Mix. His own show on Rinse FM regularly dominates play counts while he’s been invited to play every club and festival worth their salt. As a tastemaker, his evolved sound is channeled through his cult imprint Looking For Trouble and Newcastle born Steel City Dance Discs - two labels that have defined new trends on the clubbing landscape.

However, it is the live arena where Mall Grab thrives best. Infamous for his fun-fueled sets, he crosses styles with fluidity and with damaging effect. Dancers get ready for essential performances tailor made for a hot and sweaty workout.
