The name KNXWLEDGE is not just a symbol of the artist, but a description of him. His music takes out base elements (vowels) and replaces them with the under used and alien (x). It lures you into false comfort of songs you know before flipping the beat with class, consistently for its enhancement. Through acclaim of his EP’s and mixtapes, he has not just mastered a prodigious understanding of beats and influence, but employs the capacity to override them into a warped and distorted sense of melodic compounds – intelligent, inspired, indefinable. Channeling the vibes (and facing comparisons) of J DIlla, Madlib, Flying Lotus and associates, his work is thematic and naturally organic, with a constant connection to human emotion in industrial surrounds.
