Summer Dance returns with all local February Edition

Still brimming from the success of Sunday's sold-out opening event with stand out performances from UK juggernaut Dan Shake and New York's Honey Dijon, we're thrilled to announce the second instalment in their Summer Dance outdoor party series, returning to the luscious surroundings of the National Art School on Sunday, February 18.

Wasting no time between dances, round two of the blissful Sunday program calls upon one of dance music’s true originators, Cam Bianchetti aka Late Nite Tuff Guy to headline the afternoon, bringing his unique breed of disco vigilance to the stage. The scandalous alter-ego of genuine techno legend DJ HMC, will be continuing his dance-floor dominance in his Late Nite Tuff Guy reincarnation and on-point funk edits.

Melbourne’s DJ JNETT is next in the line, bringing the heat with her supreme turntable techniques and deep crates, spanning seamlessly through deep house, techno, funk, soul, disco, dub, reggae and hip hop. Between running Melbourne’s Central Station Records and hosting PBS.FM’s ‘Are You Ready?’, DJ JNETT’s heavyweight music knowledge, met with her euphoric stage presence will leave audiences embracing, smiling and dripping in sweat.

Checked as one of Sydney’s most diverse and respected selectors, Mike Who is a staple fixture at underground music institutions and a regular festival favourite.

The former FBi Radio ‘Sunsets’ host and guaranteed party-starter will have you basking in aural pleasure, alongside Sydney's love and party providers, Keep It Disco who'll be feeding the dance floor all flavours, fruity and fabulous.

Fellow Sydney-sider and music industry’s best-mate, Modern Fairytale will be warming up the stage with his deep dance grooves, obscure boogie and feel-good party tunes.

Having previously hosted Detroit artists Moodymann and Omar S, Berlin-based Palms Trax, Dutch DJ Hunee and Sydney’s own Touch Sensitive, Summer Dance has grown exponentially in both profile and experience. Now in its fourth year, the Astral People and National Art School collaboration continues to be one of Sydney’s finest open-air summer celebrations; the ultimate haven for good music, good times and good vibes, centred around the historic and lush Darlinghurst location.
