Rising star, Stevan has today released his third single 'Warm'. The invigorating track is a follow up of "LNT” which was released earlier this year. With the release of the single comes the music video directed by Ollie Birt. The video transfers the song’s message to a boy’s relationship with a newly adopted dog, as his signature humour and playful personality shine while he builds a home, shares adventures and revisits a previous elderly friend with his furry companion.
The track is blessed with a pulled back pace, the track sings of care and devotion before glimmers of guitar take the lead in a dance of lush drum beats, souled out vocal layers and sunny textures between.
Stevan says of the single: "Warm is basically about wanting to keep my loved ones safe and secure. I talk about how I also need them to feel safe and secure. Ironically the song features hard drums, mellow ambient guitars and a cold vocal delivery. I’m changing up the style once again haha.”
Already apart of the roster at US label Honeymoon/+1 Records which boasts the likes of Rejjie Snow and Anna of the North, we're happy to announce Stevan's partnership with Astral People Recordings, making him the label's second signing since forming earlier this year.
On the new signing, Tom Huggett of Astral People Recordings shares: "Stevan has been an underground Australian favourite of ours ever since we found his Soundcloud page back in 2017 after listening to his track 'Ugly'. He's spent the majority of his teenhood mastering all the genre's he loves which shows through the upcoming releases he has under his belt. He's the sort of artist we'd be championing in our downtime whether we were professionally involved or not .... which is the exact ethos we follow here at Astral People Recordings. We have no doubt that 2020 is Stevan's year.''
