Fresh new announcement for you this morning, everybody’s favourite mix engineer Doug Wright, is now being represented by Astral People!

Doug is one of the most versatile mix engineers, producers, and songwriters in Australia. His career began releasing music under the widely adored project Fishing, alongside fellow Eora based artist Russell Fitzgibbon. Since then he has been deeply entrenched in the local scene, as a session musician for Cloud Control and Vlossom as well as moving dancefloors around the country as part of DJ duo Body Promise.

Whether it be adding depth and emotional nuance to pop productions or finessing groove on tracks destined for the club, Doug brings diverse expertise and an unwavering passion for music to each project he engineers. His work spans style and genre,  mixing for the likes of Ninajirachi, Pretty Girl, Winston Surfshirt, Kita Alexander, Panama, Arno Faraji, Skeleten, Moktar, 1tbsp and FELIVAND. His collaborations have been released through such labels as Warner Music, Future Classic, Astral People Recordings/PIAS, Steel City Dance Discs and NLV Records.
