Astral Job Hunt: Artist Management & Label Coordinator

Astral People are on the hunt for an Artist Management & Label Coordinator to join our growing team in Sydney/Eora, Australia.

Role: Artist Management & Label Coordinator
Availability: Full Time
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Eora/Sydney

This is a junior role with a focus on marketing, digital strategy and day-to-day management needs for selected artists on Astral’s management roster and admin assistance across the record label.

Experience in the Music/Entertainment industry is ideal along with a passion for the Global Music Industry.

Key skills

  • Proficient in social media platforms and marketing strategy e.g. Ads Manager, Tiktok, Instagram etc
  • Proficient in using video editing/creating software: e.g. iMovie, Final Cut Pro etc
  • Proficient in using Adobe Suite Applications: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator etc

Roles and responsibilities
MANAGEMENT (FOR SELECTED ARTISTS)

  • Coordinating marketing selected management roster releases with the Artist Managers
  • Be the point of contact for release roll outs for selected artists on the management roster
  • Drive tour marketing via social media, mail database builds, PR and other tools.
  • Creating and editing tour admats and associated assets when required.
  • Coordinate press invites and guest list allocations with the Artist Managers and external PR
  • Book in external photographers/videographers for shows when required
  • Collating & uploading opt-in data for management roster
  • Pitching for local radio premieres when the artist doesn’t have a plugger / publicist with an artist manager.
  • Update the Astral website with latest releases and tour info for all management, label and publishing acts.
  • Management of bi-weekly newsletter

LABEL

  • Delivering of assets to PIAS (artwork, lyrics, audio, quotes, label copy, press shots)
  • Maintaining and updating label calendar with key delivery and release dates.
  • Liaising with PIAS on marketing assets for sign off.
  • Daily liaising with third parties for any creative assets.
  • Maintaining release folders on drive
  • Release day sheets (both writing + sharing with key stakeholders)
  • Release specific social media roll-out as well as maintaining DSPs profiles
  • Scouting / artist recommendations
