Taking in a Bristol heritage cemented by the likes of Massive Attack and Portishead,  English-based PHAELAH (pronounced as Fella though better known as Matt Preston) sits between the ever-shifting tempos of house, garage and classic dubstep with a cinematic edge.

Noted by Mojo Magazine for his “stark, minimalist beauty” Phaeleh (pronounce ‘Fella’) made his mark in 2008 upon a debut EP for Afterglo records (co-run by Chemical Records). Releasing two LP’s – ‘Fallen Light & ‘The Cold In You’ on Afterglo thereafter, his high-grade production has won support from names like Skream, Scuba and N-Type as well as BBC Radio1 and a review from DJ magazine claiming he “picks up where Burial left off”. A DJ in extremely high-demand, Phaeleh’s tour dates include performances at Fabric & Outlook Festival and dates alongside the likes of Dark Sky, Synkro, Ikonika and Randomer.

Fit for lovers of elegant electronic music from a master in the field.
