Astral People & BBE are proud to announce the return of a true pioneer of the electronic landscape.
Chrome Sparks, the project of 22 year old Jeremy Malvin, specialises in expansive and hypnotising soundscapes coated with custom synths and layered percussion. His break-out single ‘Marijuana’ is a the pinnacle of this, a fluttering piece of synth-centred bass music that unexpectedly set the internet alight.
Instantly pricking the ears of industry insiders with his unique blend of electronica, Chrome Spark quickly signed to local tastemaker Future Classic in 2013. His first official EP ‘Sparks’ exhibited the producer’s finesse in constructing dazed, melodic beat-centric tunes that oozed with ingenuity. The Brooklyn based musician gained global recognition for the striking versatility of his music, simultaneously relished as down-tempo chillers and up-tempo club beats. Refining his sound with his EP Goddess and his freshly released EP Parallelism, Howl & Echoes praised Chrome Sparks for having the unique “ability to keep us hooked and clamouring ever more for [his] highly addictive music”.
After touring extensively around the US this year, Chrome Sparks will make his return to Australian soil this February.
