Astral People are pleased to announce their first management signing in over 2 years -  Milan Ring - the latest management client to sign to the Astral People family since Winston Surfshirt.

The Sydney-based singer/rapper/guitarist/producer/mix & mastering engineer, who boasts sessions and credits with DRAM& frequent Chance The Rappercollaborators' The Social Experiment, today
releases her latest single 'Drifting', which was premiered on Tuesday night by triple j, and announces the Sydney single launch at Waywards on Friday 26 October.

Released independently through her own label MXMAY, distributed worldwide via Kobalt AWAL, 'Drifting' is the fourth single drop in an extensive line of mood-based tracks being released this year. As described by the artist, Drifting reflects on:

"The frustration one can have with someone who is unable to move forward, but the patience and love one must have in order for them to grow."

With a signature sound of a carefully orchestrated balance between the analogue and digital worlds, Milan Ring blends live percussion with electronic drums and synths with her raw guitar takes.
The concepts of duality (Yin & Yang), spirituality and personal evolution are a constant source of inspiration to Milan’s artistry, as is the influence of her environment. From the sparkling city of Angels to humble Australian outback bedroom beats, her music is a rendezvous between polarities.
