Astral People Job Hunt: Full Time Operations Manager

Astral People are on the hunt for an all rounded, boss Operations Manager to join our growing team in Sydney, Australia.

Experience in the Music/entertainment industry is required, this is a full time role, we are looking for someone to fulfil the below roles and responsibilities:

Roles & Responsibilities

Local Artist Show/Tours (Our Management Roster)

Booking flights, accom, transfers, riders around tours

Booking in event staff where needed

Booking in all production / backline necessary

Setting up ticketing with marketing manager

Liaising with venues

Liaising with the agents to ensure invoices and contracts are issued to purchasers

Liaising with supports (directors will supply options) but we want you to lock them in and advance their requirements

Co-ordinating show set times, changeovers, running order

Liaising with merchandise suppliers

Coordinating staff on show days

Liaising / booking in suppliers for special events – toilets, fencing, bars etc

Setting up and finalising all tour books

Setting up show budgets

Finalising show settlements and working with the day-to-day managers on finalising P&L

Working with our marketing manager to set out timelines for tours and announcements

Supplying ticket reports for all shows 3 times a week

Chasing up funds – deposits and balances for shows

Managing guest lists for tours

Insurance - PLI, insurance, cancellation
Advancing International Shows/Tours (Astral Only Tours)

Booking flights, accomodation, transfers, technical and hospitality riders

Issuing invoices and contracts to purchasers

Booking in event staff where needed

Booking in all production / backline necessary

Setting up ticketing for all shows with marketing manager

Involved in general A&R - looking for new international and local artist talent

Chasing up funds – deposits and balances

Supply ticket reports for all tours 3 times a week

Collating local support acts for international tours

Managing guest lists for tours

Insurance - PLI

Accounting + visas - coordinate with third parties

Advancing International Tours ( With Handsome Tours)

Liaising with supports (directors will supply options) but we want you to lock them in and advance their requirements
Managing guest lists for tours

Admin
Take meeting notes
Organise calendar
Grant writing
Conduct employee meetings
Process improvement
