Astral People are on the hunt for an Artist Manager to join our growing team based in Sydney/Eora, Australia.

This role encompasses a primary focus on overall management for selected artists across Astral People's management roster, including prominent names like Cosmo’s Midnight, Winston Surfshirt, Memphis LK, KUČKA, Sam Alfred, and award winning mix engineers like George Nicholas and Doug Wright. It offers ample opportunities for both professional expansion and personal growth within the company. Essential qualifications include prior experience in the Music/Entertainment industry and a genuine enthusiasm for the dynamics of the Global Music Industry.

ARTIST MANAGER - FULL TIME
BASED IN SYDNEY/EORA, AUSTRALIA
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- 2+ years of experience as an artist manager or day to day artist manager.
- Excellent organizational skills
- A passion and deep understanding of the global music industry
- Strong time management skills
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to use discretion
- Established global network within the music industry
- Have a diverse taste in music (not just electronic/dance!) - you will be working across most genres
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, manage and lead artist specific global release strategies for your roster.
- Manage overall brand and social media strategy and development alongside artist management coordinator.
- Managing PR strategy w/ artist management coordinator around all events and releases (liaising with all parties involved and astral staff)
- Develop, manage and lead global touring strategies alongside agents and Astral team for your roster.
- Working with the operations manager to set up timelines and deadlines for booking logistics, tour books, invoice follow ups, worksheets and show settlements / P&L's.
- Manage extended global teams around recording and touring rollouts, ensuring all stakeholders are operating efficiently and deadlines are met.
- Manage, negotiate and execute deals end to end across multiple mediums including but not limited to ; recordings, branding, touring, publishing, merchandise etc.
- Registering relevant local artist songs with APRA, PPCA and publishing
- A&R - scouting for new international and local emerging talent
