Following one-off MLIVE events in Paris, Berlin, London, New York and Los Angeles, German-based tastemakers Majestic Casual & Sydney’s Astral People today reveal the first headline act for MLIVE Sydney, as part of the curated, global event series. From Max Watt’s on December 2, MLIVE welcomes French producer and Roche Musique signee, FKJ.

Succeeding a mix of forward-thinking DJs and live performers for the MLIVE series in previous cities – including Tourist in Paris, Lapalux in London, and Snakehips in Berlin – MLIVE’s debut stop in Sydney, will see some of Australia and the world’s brightest performers, DJs and Majestic Casual-endorsed acts take to the stage.

With millions of plays across the world, for his songs “So Much To Me”, “Instant Need”, “Better Give U Up” – and remixes for Alina Baraz, June Marieezy and Lianne La HavasFKJ is the face of the new French house scene, with his rolling tones and sounds making him one of Roche Music’s flagship artists. Trained as a sound engineer in cinema, and a self-taught musician, the Tours-native has two EPs under his belt, with a highly anticipated debut LP on the way.

As one of the first audio-visual music blogs on YouTube, Majestic Casual continues to represent the best in electronic, hip-hop, pop and indie genres. The Majestic brand extends to their label Majestic Records, and MLIVE is the debut event series that has already won acclaim across the globe.

Stay tuned for further lineup announcements, as an MLIVE Sydney act will be revealed each week via Facebook. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
